ASSISTANT CAREGIVER / TEACHER

High School Diploma.  Some ECE college courses or Associates Degree
preferred.    

A full background check will be conducted prior to employment.  Certified in
First Aid / CPR and Food Handlers is required.


A minimum of 1 year  working in a child care or preschool teaching
environment.  A minimum of 6 months working directly with infants and
toddlers.


Assist the director, teachers and other caregivers with the handling &
care of all infants, toddlers and school age children enrolled in the
program.  This will include but not limited to; diapering, feeding and
overall assistance in all aspects of child care.  You will assist in
coordination of outdoor activities as well as indoor curriculum.  
Assist with meal preparation and clean up.
Maintain the facility.
Maintain an environment that is tolerant and respectful of child and
family cultures, values and differences.
Establish relationships with individual children and families and
     be responsive to their needs.
Provide care in classrooms as needed to meet safety and licensing
regulations as directed by lead teachers.
Establish and maintain a healthy, safe and fun working environment.
Attend staff meetings as required.
Minimum of 15 hours of continuing education credits per year.


30 to 40 hrs per week based on need.  Monday - Friday.
Facility hours are 7:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.

$10.00 - $13.00 per hour DOE.
